Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between Tungsten rings and those made of Titanium?
Tungsten is 4 times harder than titanium and therefore much less likely to scratch or deform. In fact Tungsten rings are often referred to as ‘Permanently polished’ as result of the high gloss mirror like finish that Titanium rings can never match. Tungsten rings are much heavier and have a bulky feel compared to alternative metals.
Why are Tungsten rings so popular?
Tungsten rings are hardwearing, will keep their shine for decades, can be worn on a daily basis without any worries about wear and tear and most importantly look and feel expensive at a price that is very affordable when compared to alternative ring metals such as gold, silver, platinum or titanium.
They’re available in a huge range of designs, colours and textures such as a smooth mirror finish or a brushed look and feel.
Can Tungsten rings be re-sized?
Tungsten rings cannot be re-sized. This is primarily due to the nature of the material and the likely impact on the design and structure of the ring. If you require a different size to the one you’ve ordered get in touch at email@example.com and we can discuss an exchange.
Can Tungsten rings be scratched?
Under normal day to day wear Tungsten will resist scratches better than any other ring material. Under extreme conditions the ring may take on some scratches or even break.
